The Lamplighter operates as a humble, inconspicuous,  neighborhood bar during the day.  Yet, when the sun goes down, the Lamplighter is magically transformed into what has been consistently rated the number one Karaoke bar in the San Diego area.  Joesph Sciuto opened Lamplighter about 15 years ago and it is now an informal historical landmark.

Tourists visiting San Diego are often referred to the Lamplighter as a great place to have a rockin’ time.  The Lamplighter is open 7 days a week and is home to one of the most extensive karaoke music selections to be found in the San Diego area.  If you enjoy cranking out tunes in front of a large crowd with no fear, then make sure you check out The Lamplighter.  In San Diego-for karaoke-it doesn’t get better.

Her customers range from brides with specific designs in mind and those with special foot widths, sizes or high arches, to people with Multiple Sclerosis or who have had an amputation.

Coyote Valley Sporting Clays

Posted in Press Releases on April 3rd, 2009 by Katherine Schmitt – Be the first to comment

Coyote Valley Sporting Clays is the result of owner Tom Ebert’s decision to make his passion his work. A former construction worker, Ebert opened the sporting clays facility in 1992 and runs it with his wife, Nancy, who is an NSCA Certified Level III Instructor.

“Sporting clays” consists of a series of natural and unique shooting fields connected along a course trail. At each field, participants attempt to shoot airborne clay targets simulating gamebird wingshooting. Small groups of two to five people tour the course, and at each field take turns shooting at a set number of targets.

Ebert was introduced to sporting clays in 1990 and loved the concept, realizing many others in the Bay Area would find enjoyment in the hobby. It’s a very family oriented business and the Eberts make sure everyone has a great time by offering nice facilities and amenities that appeal to both men, women, and children.

Coyote Valley Sporting Clays is an extensive facility featuring two sporting clay ranges, two skeet fields, trap shooting, private and group Instruction, pro shop and event facilities. Set in the beautiful hills of Santa Clara Valley, the experienced and helpful staff make a visit a fun, day-long experience for all. A BBQ lunch is served every weekend, with a menu including sandwiches, hamburgers, and Polish dogs with sides of chili beans, salad, and cookies for dessert.

The main course is a large course with 16 stations of various difficulties. There are stations set up mainly for beginners, as well as some very challenging stations. This course offers lots of flexibility so shooters may throw targets in any increment they prefer. The mountain course features spectacular scenery, terrain, and challenging targets

The facility is available to rent for day or evening events such as picnics, dances, and other group events. Catering is available or groups may bring in their own food.

Visit Coyote Valley Sporting Clays at 1000 San Bruno Ave. Morgan Hill, CA. Contact the Eberts at (408) 778-3600 or visit www.coyoteclays.com/.
